DJ LOZANO

Dropping beats between Dominican Republic, Cuba, Germany, Brazil and global film festivals—Pablo Lozano, filmmaker and dj, fuses Caribbean stories with cinematic power moves. He produced films like Candela, jury prize at Biarritz film Festival (among others) and Pepe, the first Latin-American film to win Best Director at Berlinale’s official competition. Lozano remixes regional identity into global narratives, and is currently migrating to film direction. His debut film Aunque Sea Ver el Mar won the LightDox prize at Visions du Réel Work in Progress category.
